A young graduate student, Anna, comes to her native village, where she has not been for about 12 years, to her grandmother's house. Here, in the village silence, she is going to write her dissertation.
Suddenly, two strangers appear in the house and claim that the owner of this house rented it to them yesterday for two weeks, and to make it more convincing, they turn on the TV, in which Anya's mother appears, confirms this and asks her to stay with their neighbor for a while. It all looks very strange...
Then something completely inexplicable happens. The strangers say that they need to go to the 13th century to find some genius living in these parts at that time and take him with them to the future.
