Plot synopsis
Nika is one of the daughters of a nomadic family on the Yamal peninsula. This year she goes to school for the first time. Very soon she will be sent to a boarding school, separating her from her family and familiar surroundings for a long time to come. A nomad teacher is preparing her for this departure.
