We can understand today's global military conflicts and the situation in Ukraine only by understanding the wars that have been going on since 1992 - in Transnistria, Abkhazia, Chechnya... Director Valery Timoshchenko worked on this film throughout all the military conflicts on the territory of the CIS for the last twenty-two years.
Being under fire, sharing the fate of a soldier, the author of the film formulated a kind of Charter of a military cameraman. And one of his rules: "Follow the situation, follow life, don't tempt fate, never ask to do something for the film, for the frame." And another important rule: "You must know the history of the territory where you are filming the war."
