The short film "Hymn to the Plague", shot by the group Ataka51, is taking part in the international competition Pardi di Domani ("Leopards of the Future") of the prestigious Locarno Film Festival.
This is a topical video essay, in the center of which musician Leonid Fedorov performs a song based on the poems from Pushkin's "A Feast During the Plague."
The creative group Ataka51 is a group of filmmakers whose method remains obscure even to themselves. They experiment with form using CGI (Computer-Generated Imagery), and explore, from project to project, the time of post-truth.
