The Northern Sea Route is the country's most unique Arctic sea artery.
Today, before our eyes, it is being transformed into a year-round transport route, which in itself sounds almost fantastic: in the Arctic, the most difficult and impassable region, shipping will no longer depend on seasonal navigation!
The documentary series "Northern Sea Route" will tell the centuries-old history of the exploration of the incredible and harsh ice space, the history of the real heroes of the past and our contemporaries, and will show the birth of the latest generation of icebreakers - from the slipways to launching and departure on a voyage.
