Plot synopsis
Despite the disproportionate risks, two Russian film-makers have filmed the impact of the Russian invasion of Ukraine on their country. Several thousand Russians fled. Those who remained had to make a choice: oppose the war, support it or remain silent.
We have rare access to the testimonies of Russians prepared to denounce their government. In defiance of the danger, a group of graffiti artists, an actor, a politician and a YouTube influencer have allowed producers to film their lives as they express their disagreement.
For years, it has been dangerous for Russians to speak out against Vladimir Putin's regime. New censorship laws, introduced since the invasion of Ukraine, have made the situation tougher than ever.
