The documentary film “Chyskyyray - the Sakha Woman” is dedicated to the image, creativity and fate of the original Yakut singer, theater and film actress Valentina Romanova. Chyskyyray is a voice flying upward. Her name was recognized when, leaving behind the leading actresses of our time, she received the Kinotavr prize for the main female role in the Yakut film “Scarecrow”. At the center of the project is the amazing story of the heroine, her bright individuality, and loyalty to the traditions of Sakha. The goal of the project is to bring the interest of Russian and international audiences to the national culture of Yakutia and its key characters to a new level. The film will be presented by director Mila Kudryashova and singer from the film Valentina Romanova.
