Plot synopsis

Screen adaptation of the story of the same name by David Kldiashvili, a classic of Georgian literature of the 19th century, ridiculing the arrogance of the impoverished Imereti nobility. Classic film of silent Georgian cinema. The film was preserved without the 6th part, it was not shown in the RSFSR.
