Plot synopsis
A paramedic from the small village of Sarat in the Omsk
Region, Nina Vladimirovna Dymchenko, who has been
monitoring the health of her countrymen for almost 40 years,
is going on vacation one day. She plans to receive medical
treatment in one of the sanatoriums in Altai. The news that
Nina Vladimirovna will not be in the village for 2 weeks causes
a slight panic among the villagers. The last week before the
leave shows how much the villagers love their paramedic and
how devoted Nina Vladimirovna is to her profession. Only here,
among her countrymen, she feels truly happy.
