Plot synopsis
“For all the years of the existence of the pioneer organization,
more than 210 million teenagers joined its ranks. The kids had
a feeling of belonging to the life of a large country. They
realized that they were needed not only by their parents, but
also by counselors, front-line soldiers, peers from Cuba and
even the builders of Baikal-Amur Mainline. With the collapse
of the Soviet Union, along with the ideology, we lost the mass
children’s movement. But is it good that children’s thirst for
a common cause, concern for the welfare of the country,
collective work and recreation have become a thing of the past? And have they really become a thing of the past?”
