Plot synopsis
A unique observation in a feature film of the lives of investigated and convicted employees in one of the oldest prisons in Russia - the Butyrka prison castle, which keeps many secrets and legends about prisoners such as Emelyan Pugachev, Felix Dzerzhinsky, Vladimir Maäakovski, Alexander Solzhenitsyn, Natalya Sats, Vsevolod Meyerhold, Sergey Korolev, Andrey Tupolev and many more.
In this prison, the same events take place as in our daily life: work, mass, religious feast with religious procession, elections to the State Duma, New Year, staging of a Shakespeare play, live broadcast with President.
