Biography
Alexey Khaniutin was born in 1955 in Moscow in the family of Yuri Khaniutin, a famous film critic, film expert and one of the co-authors of M.I. Romm based on the film "Ordinary Fascism".
He graduated from the VGIK directing department and defended his doctoral thesis.
He taught at the higher courses of directing and screenwriting.
Since 1999, he has been leading a directing workshop at VGIK.
He founded the production center "Dialogue", in which - under his leadership - the project "Generation 2000" was produced
