Ivanovo journalist Andrei Yevgenyev and Moscow student Nikita Mikheenko are completing their sentences in strict regime prisons in Ivanovo and Tula regions. The court found them guilty of drug possession, but the young men claim their innocence and accuse the same police officers who arrested them of fraud during their service, abuse of power and beatings.
The two mothers, Olga Evgenyeva and Raisa Mikheenko, want to restore their sons' honor. These women go to visit their sons, point out the inconsistencies in the investigation in numerous complaints, but receive only evasive answers. However, their efforts ultimately lead to a thorough inspection of the police station where, as they claim, their sons were beaten. And the investigators launch a new judicial investigation for abuse of power, the actors of which may become these same police officers with dirty hands.
Will the families of journalist Andrei Evgenyev and student Nikita Mikheenko be able to prove their innocence? Will they be able to be released and will those who were able to smuggle drugs to the accused to improve their grades be punished?
