In the center of Dagestan live women of different nationalities. In 1994, obstetrician-gynecologist Aysha Magomedova opened a free hospital for these women in the center of Makhachkala. She was concerned about the situation of these highlanders in the villages of Dagestan, where there are no roads, no gas, no water. According to local traditions, all the physical work in the house falls on the woman: caring for the cattle, hay, water for the family. Aysha helped them overcome the difficulties of everyday life and for fifteen years provided them with free medical care and psychological support. In the winter of 2009, the hospital was evicted from the building. How is the life of the highlanders today in 2019? Women tell their stories in the film.
