In Altai, the cattle farm that used to be a model is now in decline. Cows live there that give milk. Their whole life is spent between the cowshed and the "maternity". Everything is organized according to one goal: to obtain the necessary product. A day on the farm goes like this: morning milking, evening milking, "birth", the dairy. The cowherds arrive before daybreak. In the space occupied by the cows enter the people who connect the animals and the machines forming hybrids of cows with mechanical udders. In the evening the milkmaids come again and milk the cows again. The milk is transported to the dairy from where it leaves the farm. In the maternity calves are born that for a time bring the cows back to their natural life. A few women do this very hard and poorly paid work of maintaining the activity of the cowshed. Such is life on the farm.
