World War II. A factory in the Alps, where prisoners of war work, is bombed at night. Taking advantage of this circumstance, five prisoners escaped. Among them is a Russian soldier. He alone manages to go to the mountains. In the mountains, Ivan meets an Italian girl, Julia, who also escaped from captivity. The hero tries to get rid of her, but the girl follows him.
