New technologies sometimes burst into our lives in an unexpected way. A group of designers of intelligent machines, led by the hero of the film, Sergei Markov, create robots to call bank debtors by phone. One day they came up with the idea of teaching the robot to speak with the voice of a famous actor who died a few decades ago.
