Three elderly people, Moultik, Gastrit and Anna, live alone in an abandoned village 10 kilometers from the center of the canton. They live only on the hope that their children, who have long forgotten them, will come to see them. They are kind fools who want the best for others and who have not known much good in their lives. The old people argue, reconcile, get married, but realizing that all this is meaningless, decide to take their destiny in hand and prove that all is not lost.
