A Canadian photographer of Armenian origin takes a trip to Armenia with his wife. He must make, for a Canado-Armenian humanitarian organization, a series of twelve photographs of historical churches for a calendar. Accompanied by a guide, they go from one monument to another, most often in isolated mountain sites. Coming home, the photographer watches the video films he took from their trip. His wife stayed in Armenia and he does not know when she returns. He wonders if she has not fallen in love with their guide. He receives women at home who inspire the letters he sends to his wife.
