(born 2004. Almetyevsk, Republic of Tatarstan, Russia) is a documentary filmmaker, workshop of Alexander Slobodskoy and Maria Morozova. Having moved from a small town to St. Petersburg, she entered the Institute of Cinema and Television to direct a documentary film.
Valeria explores reality, refracting it through her own inner world. A straightforward story is alien to her; for her, cinema is, first and foremost, a search for “one’s own” in the gigantic flow of life, through people, events, themes, and the little things of existence.
