I was born in Voronezh. I spent my early years in an old brick dormitory, which the residents called "Berlin". At the age of five, my parents divorced, and I moved to my grandparents in Kazakhstan, where I began school.
I moved to Moscow at the age of ten, entered a theater studio, which awakened my interest in theater and cinema.
After school, I began working as an assistant cameraman, then completed the Mosfilm cameraman courses. I am completing my studies at the Moscow Film School, faculty of directing.
