Biography
Vladimir Sevrinovsky is a Russian journalist, photographer and documentary filmmaker, focusing on the regions of Russia.
Holding a Ph.D. in Economics, he abandoned a successful business career in 2011 to become a traveler and an independent journalist. He has visited all regions of Russia and has written multiple award-winning stories. Later, Vladimir began to support them with photos and video documentaries.
Now, his dominant sphere of interest is the Northern Caucasus, where he has become one of the leading experts on the ethnography of local nations. He has collaborated successfully with TV companies from Switzerland, Germany, and Great Britain. One of the documentaries he produced was nominated for an Oscar. Since 2022, he has documented the impact of the war on Russian society.
