The film tells the story of the daily work of a St. Petersburg police station. The heroes: Kazanova, Larin, Doukalis and Volkov, are ordinary cops. They are radically different from the fearless and blameless knights of the Soviet era played by Zbruev, Solomin, Kikabadze, Martynok etc. Today's police officers look like many ordinary Russian citizens: they do not have the physique of stars or the body of an athlete, they are simply dressed, take public transport and conduct their investigations in dilapidated offices without computers or radio telephones. They often resort to illicit methods in their work, sometimes even breaking the law. In short, real "cops"...
