The film tells the story of Anatoly Yevgenyevich Kurkovsky, head of the health center unit for the homeless at the Botkinsky Hospital in St. Petersburg.
It is a unique facility—the only one of its kind in Russia—established 23 years ago with the participation of the organization Doctors Without Borders. Dramatic, sometimes moving, and occasionally even comical events unfold here every day.
