Eldar lives with his mum in a small town on the shores of the Caspian Sea. He goes to the gym, takes part in amateur car races, and sometimes works as a guide, showing visitors around authentic sites in Dagestan. In his latest race, Eldar loses all his money. He blames it all on his old car, but he can’t afford to buy a new one. One hot day, whilst driving along the motorway, he picks up a passenger who, it seems, might just solve all of Eldar’s problems.
