Yulia Nikolaevna Reitlinger left Russia during the revolution. At the age of 37, in France, she took monastic vows under the name of Ioanna. In a foreign land, she began painting icons and became one of the most prominent icon painters of our time. Today, her legacy is returning to her homeland.
