Plot synopsis
This series covers the period from April 3, 1917 (when Lenin arrived in Petrograd and announced his famous "April Theses") to October 25, 1917 (the capture of the Winter Palace). The film contains little-known details of the revolution, from which a completely different picture of the October Revolution is constructed, unfamiliar to viewers.
The film features Academician Alexander Nikolaevich Yakovlev, Director of the Institute of Russian History of the Russian Academy of Sciences A.N. Sakharov, Chairman of the Accounts Chamber Sergei Stepashin, writers Boris Vasiliev and Anatoly Pristavkin, Director of the Foundation for Effective Politics Gleb Pavlovsky and Permanent Secretary of the French Academy of Sciences E. Carrère d'Encausse.
