Plot synopsis

A film about one of the most famous Pandito Khambo Lamas - Dashi Dorzhi Itigelov, whose inexhaustible and precious body is in the Ivolginsky datsan of the Buddhist Traditional Sangha of Russia. Buddhism in Russia since the middle of the 18th century has been one of the most widespread religions. It is professed not only by residents of Eastern Siberia and Transbaikalia, but also by residents of the European part of our country. Empress Elizabeth recognized Buddhism as one of the state religions in Russia, establishing in 1741 the post of Pandito Khambo Lama, the head of Russian Buddhists.
