The film tells about the sport of iceboating - winter sailing races on ice, which is practiced by children and teenagers from the sailing school of the city of Berdsk in the Novosibirsk region. Together with coach Igor Matyukhin, a team of young iceboaters goes to the All-Russian competition on Lake Baikal, where on the big ice they will have to fight for the title of first, overtake rivals and the wind itself.
