The film tells about the deep and sacred meanings contained in the image of the cross. The cross is the most famous sign in the history of mankind; for 2000 years it has been the global symbol of Christianity. The film tells how the cross is multiple and multidimensional: from the small cross on the body to the huge cult crosses installed in important places around the world. The film consists of three main chapters: "Faith", "Hope", "Love".
The film was shot in Russian Orthodox monasteries, as well as in Jerusalem, Ethiopia and Egypt.
