Plot synopsis

Each of the ten films in the Soundscape series is a story of independent musicians who found their way to themselves. The conductors of the project are the presenters Polina, Serafima and Lera, who in different parts of Russia will meet not only folk, which, as a rule, is expected from regional musicians, but also stoner, and hardcore, and post-punk, and noise, and indie rock, and electronic music.
The dramaturgy of “Soundscape” combines interviews, musical numbers, and mini-expeditions to places dear to the characters.
Visually, “Soundscape” is a mixture of documentary films in the rockumentary genre, VHS videos from childhood, chronicles of bygone years, art performance and avant-garde cinema.
