Plot synopsis
70 years ago, the most terrible Second World War in the history of human civilization began. Could it have been prevented or could Stalin have stopped Hitler? The film provides an answer to one of the most important questions in the history of the twentieth century. The plot of the film is based on unique documents from the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, which were specially declassified for this date and have never been published before. Major General of the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation, historian L.F. Sotskov talks about the contents of these documents. The film also tells about the history of Hitler’s aggressive, aggressive policy, how the USSR, Great Britain, France, Germany prepared for this war, and the extent of responsibility of each of these countries for the outbreak of World War II.
