The theme of the Second World War, the great Victory and the memory of those of our compatriots, whose heroic contribution to the fight against fascism will forever go down in the annals of world history, sounds most acute today. Much has been done to ensure that the names and heroic deeds of all those who suffered, resisted and fought would always remain in our memory. Against this background, each new discovered name is especially important, each event of those memorable years, which for many years remained unknown and now deservedly requires that descendants learn about it.
In the center of the film lies the discovery - the biography and creative heritage of the Russian musician, composer Alexei Batakov, whose fate and musical works remained unknown for a long time.
