Autumn 1920. The Red Army is fighting in the Novosibirsk region. One of the best ships of the Russian fleet, the Eagle, is moored in the port. The boatswain, underground communist Mikhail Gruzdev, convinces Captain Chistyakov to deliver "The Eagle" to the Red Fleet.
