1980. A small village in the Urals. Little Vitya learns that the baby calf will forget its mother tomorrow. He decides at all costs to return the little calf to its mother who is in another village. Vitya's older brother Egor can't let his little brother go alone. So, without telling their parents, the children go on a trip.
