The film is about the courage and self-sacrifice of the people of Baku during the Great Patriotic War. It includes three short stories on the same subject: an Azerbaijani fighter finds himself during his vacation in a Russian family, who warmly welcomes him. He and a girl from this family fall in love with each other. This is followed by short stories about their lives and the development of their love story.
