1918. Ivan Sergeyevich Shmelyov [writer 1873 -1950] leaves with his wife Olga Alekasandrovna to Alushta [Crimea] where he buys a house with a plot of land. A year later his son Sergey submits to the mobilization order No. 4. After November 5, 1920, the Shmelyovs have not received any news of their son. They emigrated to France.
