This short fiction film can be seen as a moment of poetry, a variation on the universal theme of love and, perhaps even more, of the predestination of beings. An ordinary day in the life of a young Yakut employed in a zoo in northern Siberia.
Every day, to go home, he takes the road that leads to the city. But that day, in the rain, he nearly runs over a young girl, lying across his path. He makes her get into the back of his car. But the mysterious young girl, like an apparition, disappears almost immediately. A kind of game begins between the two young people, of which neither one knows the outcome. Sergei Potapov, director of the Sakha theater, has made a film, where music lightly replaces words.
