Plot synopsis

More than 6000 km from Moscow, in the far north of Siberia, on the northern coast bordering the Bering Strait, facing Alaska, lies the Chukotski Peninsula, with the village of Enourmino. It is a miracle to be able to enter or leave this village... most of the villagers are descendants of the Chukchi, an indigenous people who have lived in harmony with Nature for centuries. This poetic documentary describes the daily life of the villagers of Enourmino and their desire to pass on their culture to new generations.
