Abandoned in a snowy street in Moscow, on the day of Anton Chekhov's hundredth birthday, a newborn inherits the name of the famous writer with the hope that this literary protection will protect him from the delinquency into which orphans often fall. He will not escape his double destiny. He will be a writer and a crook. The desire to be published will lead him to kill his publisher. This crime will mark the beginning of a chaotic and bloody spiral that will make Anton, at his expense, hostage of the mafia and the police.
