The Great Patriotic War. Captain Zhavoronkov (Oleg Zhakov), commander of a group of Soviet paratrooper reconnaissance soldiers, is tasked with personally destroying a bomb depot located in Nazi-occupied territory. Having successfully completed the mission, Zhavoronkov meets the radio operator at the appointed location.
