Jewellers Dmitry Temnikov and Valeria Shafirova from Irkutsk have chosen to create jewellery from rubbish and recycled materials rather than working with precious metals. They call it ‘punk jewellery’. The pair believe that their work will help draw attention to environmental and urban issues and encourage people to focus not on the problems themselves, but on finding solutions.
