Plot synopsis
Based on the novel "The Vanished Village" by V. Yourezanski.
It is about the fight of the Ukrainian Cossacks, inhabitants of the village of Tyurbai in the Poltava region, against the landowners, during the reign of Catherine II.
This 1928 film was re-edited in 1935. The film has not been preserved.
