Plot synopsis
The documentary *Almanac "Za Rubezhom": Victory Over Fascism* is dedicated to Daniil Kraminov—a war correspondent, a participant in the Nuremberg Trials, and the editor-in-chief of the magazine *Za Rubezhom* from 1960 to 1986. The film traces the journalist's journey from a provincial reporter to one of the USSR's most authoritative international affairs commentators, who covered the fall of the Third Reich and the trials of the Nazi regime. Produced to mark the 80th anniversary of the Victory, the film explores the role of the press in preserving historical memory, countering fascist ideology, and establishing traditions of honest, principled journalism.
