The Kitten meets the Hedgehog outside the walls of a psychiatric hospital. He is a patient and an artist; she is a stranger from the outside world. Their relationship quickly gains momentum, and before long the patients, together with the doctors and nurses, help the couple to get married. The Cat and the Hedgehog begin their life as a family, but their new reality proves to be a serious challenge for them.
