Mira is woken by her mother’s voice coming from the speaker. At breakfast, her parents communicate with the children only through it, whilst the nanny takes Platon to an empty stadium, where the stands come to life only through the voices coming from the speakers. In the evening, the AI announces that their parents won’t be coming, and Vasilisa reveals the truth to her sister: it is a programme that is speaking to them. Convinced that their parents have been kidnapped, Mira, her sister and her brother sabotage the AI’s instructions, lock up the suspicious nanny and shut down the system. Meanwhile, their parents, whilst defending the ‘Parental Control’ project at a board meeting, notice a glitch and, having lost contact with home, abandon their presentation to return to their children.
