After a car accident, 16-year-old Nikita lost his hearing and his mother. His father, Dmitry, who survived the accident, is tormented by guilt and is overprotective of his son. The teenager plays the drums, feeling the rhythm with his body. A conflict with his father, who dreams of a "normal" life for his son, ends in reconciliation through music.
