A young beauty blogger, a teenage prankster, a straight-A student who’s a bit of a nerd, and a six-year-old ‘Trukraim’ fan who’s always asking questions – these are the four Akimov children. Like any kids their age, Alina, Zhenya, Vika and Kolya dream of being left home alone, without Mum and Dad watching over them. But when their parents get stuck in Kamchatka because of a volcanic ash cloud, their dream becomes reality, and the flat gradually becomes cluttered with pizza boxes and dirty crockery. How long will the joy of complete freedom last? Will the children be able to cope with ‘grown-up’ tasks — socialising with neighbours, beating the flu epidemic, putting the furniture back together and (most importantly) getting the internet back online? And above all — will they miss their parents?
