High school student Polina, seeking refuge from bullying at her new school, strikes a deal with the school’s main bully, Bars: he must pretend to be her boyfriend and protect her, whilst she does whatever he says. As this charade unfolds, the pair develop genuine feelings for one another, but her family and classmates have their own reasons for trying to keep the lovers apart.
