Plot synopsis
Three children gather in a cozy, warm house to summon the chöchüökkэ spirit and find out what the future holds for them.
Commentaries
The plot centres on the familiar characters Ayaal, Nyukku and Michil, who encounter mystical events during Christmas fortune-telling. The cartoon immerses viewers in the culture and way of life of the Sakha people, combining elements of mysticism, dynamic scenes and humour. Tankha differs from previous works in its longer duration and atmosphere, which, according to the studio's marketing director Anna Borisova, will attract the attention of older children. ‘We sought to convey Christmas carols through the prism of a child's perception, where they become a matter of life and death,’ she noted.
